Bespoke Joinery package for Perrywood’s New Garden Centre and 200-seat Restaurant in Sudbury

We were delighted to be commissioned to manufacture and install the bespoke joinery and metalwork package for Perrywood’s New Garden Centre and 200-Seat Restaurant in Sudbury.

Over four weeks, our CAD team drew all elements, which our skilled manufacturing team then crafted in-house and installed on site.

Since opening to the public in October 2025, the space has been a huge success, welcoming numerous visitors and has been a fantastic addition to the local area.

Bespoke Seating, Counters, and Decorative Installations for Perrywood

Our team manufactured, upholstered and installed all banquette and booth seating in-house. Above the banquette seating areas, we added a solid timber feature with a wire rope trellis for plants to grow through, bringing warmth and a bit of life into the space.

The ceiling features a series of rafts intertwined with faux shrubbery. The MDF structure was carefully designed with a structural engineer to ensure the ceiling could safely support the load. Installing the rafts around lighting and air-conditioning units was an obstacle, but once installed, they became a striking focal feature that tied the entire space together.

Behind the main service area, we installed the cake pass unit, back counter shelving, and servery counter, with joinery designed to be efficient and practical for staff. Corian Neutral Aggregate tops were installed across these surfaces for a clean and durable finish, while MFC panels lipped in solid timber ensure their longevity.

Perrywood features several waiter stations, thoughtfully integrated with divider screens, which were also installed across other areas of the restaurant. All of these were carefully manufactured by our team and also fitted with durable Corian Neutral Aggregate tops.

To complement the garden centre setting, units were installed to section the restaurant, with metal frameworks and integrated planters. Manufactured by our team, these units added both greenery and structure to the space.

At the garden centre exit, we installed three bespoke till counters, carefully manufactured from MFC panels with durable Forbo Marmoleum tops – chosen for its longevity and high-quality finish.
