Oliphant & Pomeroy’s delicious new home in Covent Garden

We were proud to deliver the full fit-out for Oliphant & Pomeroy’s newest location in Covent Garden. This independent family business, already a favourite at Bicester Village, now has a delicious new home in the heart of London. Their expansion into London marks an exciting next chapter for the brand.

Tucked away within the South Wells of the building, the Covent Garden café is a classic British-inspired bakery, serving all the popular favourites – including their signature cinnamon buns and speciality coffee.

Crafting a Warm and Timeless Interior

The Oliphant & Pomeroy café was designed to feel welcoming and relaxed, so it was essential that every bespoke element reflected Oliphant’s style.

Bespoke joinery features throughout the space, beginning with the stunning entrance doors. Just inside, a dedicated seating area features high bar seating with three oak veneer wall-mounted tables, finished with durable solid surface tops. Oak veneer wall panelling frames the mirrors above, adding some warmth to the space.

Toward the rear of the space, you’ll find the front servery counter, designed with decorative oak front panels and oak skirting, creating a traditional, heritage feel. Concealed access double gates were integrated into the counter for staff accessibility, without interrupting the visual flow of the joinery.

Glass sneeze screens were also installed across the counters, carefully designed to be adaptable for both summer and winter. The glass screens are essential to allow the team to showcase freshly baked goods, ice cream, and other seasonal offerings.

The Doors Are Now Open at Oliphant & Pomeroy

Oliphant & Pomeroy is in the perfect location to welcome theatre-goers, commuters, and shoppers – whether for a quick takeaway or a sit-down in the open-air courtyard.
