Since launching in the US, Blank Street Coffee has rapidly become one of the fastest-growing coffee brands globally, establishing locations across major cities before expanding into London in 2022 – and the growth shows no signs of slowing down.

Driven by a strong brand identity and an impressive social media presence, Blank Street has quickly become a recognisable name, with stores continuing to appear across London and other major cities.

At Carter Newlove Interiors, we’ve proudly delivered the fit-out for over 10 Blank Street locations to date, with many more in the pipeline.

One of the latest additions to the portfolio was Blank Street’s first Cambridge site, an exciting project to be involved in as the brand continues its expansion across the UK.

Over the course of multiple projects, we’ve built a close working relationship with the team at Blank Street Coffee, collaborating closely with James Sarjeant, New Store Delivery and Compliance Director.

While every store stays true to the Blank Street brand identity, each site introduces its own unique ideas and design features. No two locations are the same, which makes every project an exciting one for our team to bring to life.

Signature Counters & Standout Details for Bank Street

Across the various Blank Street locations, we’ve delivered several bespoke counters, each bringing its own unique character to the space.

In Moorgate, our team manufactured and installed the front counter before applying a striking glossy green resin finish – creating one of the standout stores we’ve completed to date.

Other locations, including Gracechurch Street, featured beautifully detailed counters finished with zellige-style stone tiling in the colour ‘Tetris Muschio’, adding texture and depth to the overall design.

We also had the opportunity to deliver an exciting pop-up space for Blank Street Coffee during London Fashion Week 2026, showcasing the brand in a completely different environment.

Bringing Blank Street Coffee to Cambridge

We had the pleasure of delivering Blank Street Coffee’s very first store in Cambridge. Whether breaking up a shopping trip or grabbing a moment between lectures, it’s the perfect location for students and shoppers.

This site features a range of standout details, including a mirrored finish front-panelled counter, bespoke booth and banquette seating manufactured and upholstered in faux green leather with basketweave back pads, alongside impressive bespoke joinery display units installed throughout the space.

An Ongoing Partnership with Blank Street Coffee

We’re incredibly proud to have acted as principal contractor across a number of Blank Street Coffee locations, with several more exciting sites currently in progress.

Building a strong relationship with the Blank Street team has been a huge part of the journey, and we’re looking forward to continuing that partnership as the brand continues to grow.
